Message This time it's a 90 model with less miles ~50K...new clutch, injectors done, AC updated and compressor replaced, alternator too, new tires.

My current 96 after laying under it the other day looks like it's seeping oil from the turbo housings as well as the front and rear main seal. Has an exhaust leak and crumbling connectors with hard to find harness options. It's going to need a clutch as well since I'm there if I end up having to pull the motor. Needs new tires, bumpers painted and $400 of door dings removed. Door panel too which is seemingly impossible to find.

So I'm left with the dilemma of spending the money and time to pull the motor and replace turbos on my current, or just sell it and go for the lower mileage car.

Again my mod plans would be ~400 HP or (exhaust, intake, ECU, pulleys) which I'm half way there. I kinda feel like I'm hurting the value of the 96 Commemorative with possible runs at the track and changing anything. Also, with OBDII, it's a bit of a headache dealing with CEL when something goes amiss and I can't simply delete it.

Pricewise, the low mileage one is a good deal and inline with what I think I could get out of the 96 Black TT. The one I'm looking at is silver.

Are there any drawbacks to the seat belts on the doors, no airbags that really should be of concern with the older one? Hydraulic HICAS system vs. electric?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
